Hello and greetings! I am very interested in joining your lodge and becoming a member. My great grandfather was a MM and I would be honored to carry on the tradition if found worthy. Jim Wood told me to visit this site and seek petition.

Looking Forward,

I am looking to join the Freemasons and learn more about what they do. I would love for members to help give me first hand experiences. I am turning 21 and in the Navy. Right now I'm going to USI as a history major and secondary education minor.

Brothers, I understand that you are now at Annual Communication. My family was one of the first 5 families that settled in your area. They lived in Union Twp right where Old Henderson Rd turns West at the Ohio River. They lived there for many generations until my grandfather left the farm for Michigan. He was a Mason a had a Masonic Funeral Service. I was only 21 then . I suspect that he may have been raised to MM in Evansville. I will be coming to Evansville to see the land of my forefathers for the first time Thursday and will spend the weekend there. I was hoping for any help or info that you may be able to give me. My ancestors are buried in Locust Hill Cemetary and another one there also. My cell # is 734-905-0135. Thanks, Dale Sirkle, Lodge Treasurer, Plymouth Rock Lodge 47

A little about myself: I'm an new EA with my lodge in Livermore, CA and am currently working on my next degree. I'm originally from Evansville and was curious if there was a lodge in the area, which brought me here. I have to say that I'm very impressed with the work you've put into the website. Very nice work brothers! I will be in the area soon and hopefully I can visit. Keep up the good work brothers!

Excellent website, Brothers. Fresh content is the key to an organization's website, and you're doing a great job.

Found this poem on Creekmore Lodge #74 website in Madill, OK

Am I Builder?

I watched them tearing a building down,
A gang of men in a busy town.

With a ho-heave-ho and a lusty yell,
They swung a beam and the sides fell.

I asked the foreman, "Are these men skilled
And the kind you would hire, if you had to build?"

And he gave me a laugh and said, "No indeed,
Just common labor is all I need.

I can easily wreck in a day or two
What other builders have taken a year to do."

And I tought to myself as I went my way,
"Which of these roles have I tried to play?

Am I a builder that works with care,
Measuring life by the rule and square.

Am I shaping my deeds to a well made plan,
Patiently doing the best I can?

Or am I a wrecker who walks the town,
Content with the labor of tearing down."
